The Challenge

Privacy:

Creating acoustic separation between workspaces, meeting rooms, and collaborative areas while maintaining an open and connected workplace environment.

Impact:

Achieving a sophisticated, hospitality-inspired workplace experience while remaining mindful of project budget requirements.

The Solution

Acoustics

Enhanced wall assemblies with acoustic insulation were incorporated to minimize sound transfer and improve privacy throughout the office.

Materiality

Layered lighting, curved architectural elements, and a carefully curated palette of finishes were used to create a refined and memorable environment with maximum design impact.

The Human-Centred Lens

Materiality

Wide-format luxury vinyl tile flooring establishes a clean, cohesive foundation throughout the workplace, enhancing the sense of openness and continuity. In open office areas, selective carpet applications introduce warmth, comfort, and acoustic benefits, creating a softer, hospitality-inspired atmosphere that supports employee wellbeing.

Curvature

Curved walls and millwork elements soften the workplace environment and create a more welcoming experience for employees and visitors. These organic forms introduce visual interest, improve flow throughout the space, and help move away from the rigidity often associated with traditional corporate interiors.

Lighting

Soft, decorative lighting was incorporated throughout the workplace to add warmth, character, and a sense of comfort. By layering ambient and feature lighting, the design creates a more inviting environment that feels closer to a hospitality setting than a conventional office, supporting both wellbeing and the overall user experience.
