Expertise

Therese Capili is a Design Assistant with a background spanning commercial interior design, architecture, and set design for film and television. She holds a Bachelor of Interior Design from Mount Royal University, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA and was recognized with numerous accolades, including the Interior Design Faculty Scholarship and the Dialog Design Award in Interior Design.  

Therese’s technical expertise includes pre-design, conceptual design, 3D visualization, and detailed construction drawings. Her background crafting graphics and spatial environments for screen in the film industry gives her a distinctive perspective on storytelling and visual composition. She excels at guiding projects through early phase planning and visual rendering, ensuring every environment is thoughtfully conceived and executed.

Therese’s design approach is rooted in holistic storytelling and a deep awareness of how indoor environments shape daily life. Drawing from her experience living in different countries and working across diverse creative industries, she infuses depth and layered meaning into every project. She values collaboration, actively incorporating team perspectives while focusing on each client's unique goals and vision. Therese prioritizes client needs to resolve functional challenges and deliver environments that are deeply considered, meaningful, and grounded in purpose.

Beyond Design

Outside of work, Therese brings a curious, adventurous energy to her life as a self-described jack-of-all-trades. An enthusiast for learning and trying new things, her hobbies range from investing and finance to reading, fashion, cooking, and pole dancing. She thrives on new experiences, whether geeking out over books and movies or finding inspiration in travel, music, and software design.
