Alessa King is a Design Assistant at Holland Design, where she supports project teams through concept development, visual presentations, 3D modeling, research, and early-stage design execution. She is completing her Interior Design degree and brings a strong foundation in sustainability, collaboration, and human-centered design. Her academic dedication has been consistently recognized throughout her studies.

Design Philosophy

Alessa contributes thoughtfully to each project, helping translate client goals into clear and cohesive design directions. She is known for her curiosity, initiative, and collaborative approach-listening first, communicating openly, and embracing iterative feedback to support team problem-solving. Her work spans material selection, renderings, and presentation development, all aimed at creating spaces that feel connected, supportive, and intentionally crafted.

Beyond Design

Outside of work, Alessa explores creativity through painting, embroidery, beading, and sketching. These artistic pursuits deepen her appreciation for everyday beauty and connection, inspiring the sensitivity and care she brings to her design practice. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, with friends, and with animals-experiences that continue to shape her perspective on community, wellbeing, and meaningful design.
